My complaint:
I have been with The Alpine Clinic for 8 years . Finding the right combination of medications that have worked for me for years. Suddenly Dr. **** had to retire do to Heath reasons , sent me A letter since I had just seen him the day before he left. Assuring me that I had refills and that would caring me over until I seen one of his Colleagues. So I went to get them filled , also had made a appointment with Clyde. At CVS is hey informed me that they couldn’t fill Dr ***** scripts since he was no longer practicing. So I called to get them refilled and he wouldn’t refill dr ***** prescriptions. This man had 41 yrs of practice and new me well . For a nurse practitioner to over ride a dr like Dr. **** still to this day makes me furious. Since I can’t get into Clyde until the end of oct . He refuses to refill my scripts that are still good from **** ! Leaving me in a terrible situation! I wonder if dr ***** has any Idea that he or alpine is not honoring his 41 yrs of practice ! For a nurse practitioner to override the doctor !
Suggested solution:
To honor what Dr. **** and I worked on for 8 yrs . I don’t think in any situation you should just not take a prescription you have taken for 8 yrs. when calling Alpine informed me that it wouldn’t hurt me just to go off of something that I really need . I’m thinking is she a dr are any of them drs ! So so Unprofessional.. you call and they say they will call you back and never do .
