My complaint:

Booked a flight with Ryanair via edream, for 04.06.2019, from Karlsruhe Baden Baden to London Stansted.

Online checkin process for my oldest son (12years) was unsuccessful. Kept getting a message that online checkin for adults was from 16years old. However, before I bought the ticket, I entered him as a child but it was rejected.

But getting him through the online checkin process via ryanair app was another problem. As my son being 12 wasis considered a teenager by Ryanair not an adult as per edreams through which I booked the tickets. Called the customer service, but was held on the queue for almost an hour both times.

Figured I will get it sorted at the airport. Only for us to get there and meet staff who were not only very unfriendly but had no source of information whatsoever. It seemed like all that mattered was that I pay a fees of €220 for the checkin (my kids and myself) which I paid rather reluctantly.
To make matters worst the flight had more than 30minutes lateness.

I have a return flight with Ryanair and just the thought of it makes me shiver. This was my first ever flight with Ryanair and I will like this sorted get a refund and cancel my return flight.

Suggested solution:

Refund paid €220 checkin fees
Cancel any future flights with Ryanair.
