My complaint:
The whole journey from Inverness to Amsterdam at 1420 which was delayed to 1450 on the 24th of October is tge flight i’m referring to herein this complaint.
Three persons are believed to be under the influence of alcohol and were very noisy, in fact swearing most of the time throughout the journey. Stewardess were not probably aware, they were the topic if discussion.
In fact, my wife and I felt very uncomfortable because we were seated behind the two of these three people. We were sested at 24 A and 24 C in this journey .
We are both frequent flyers are very aware of rules and regulations of the aircraft both on descent and in ascending. Upon descent, I believe that all windows must be widely opened and yet before us in 23 A, due to their nature most possibly that the stewardess didn’t even bother to tell them to ooen their window.
As we went off the aircraft, I mentioned to the pilot and stewardess about them as they walked before us. BUT, they never bothered to care or even gave them a verbal warning. The stewardess and captain just shrugged their shoulders as if they don’t really care or unable to do anything.
The last time I flew with KLM was 5yrs ago due to a similar experience where my wife and I were seated separately for the whole journey from Amsterdam to Philippines. They never considered the psychological effect this had brought us as a couple. Since then, we never failed to fly with Emirates and only again on this episode when we thought of flying with KLM again and this had happened.
The whole saga and experience we have is something traumatic and I even fear for our flights back again from Philippines to Inverness, Scotland by end week of November.
Suggested solution:
I want a compensation. At least an upgrade for our journey when we get back to Scotland would probably be enough to suffice for the unfortunate circumstances and dilemma KLM flight have given my wife and myself.
